Trustee, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston; Team Member, Ready to Work
Lynn I. Bogle is a Trustee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and a Team Member of Ready to Work where she coordinates with industry partners and BGCB Teen Staff to prepare High School & College students for professional internships in and around the City of Boston. In addition to Think:Kids, she serves on the Advisory Board for the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital which accelerates the development of new treatments, prevention, and cures for five complex neurologic diseases: multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumors.

She received a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, an MBA in Finance from Northeastern University, and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Before retiring to raise her family, she was a Senior Vice President and Head of Non-US Structured Equity Investments at State Street Global Advisors in Boston.

Executive Director, National League of Cities, Retired
Don created the Institute for Youth, Education, and Families at the National League of Cities to support local governments in addressing the needs of under-served children and families. He joined the Think-Kids Advisory Committee in 2010 appreciating both the need and potential impact of Collaborative Problem Solving. While this is not his field of professional expertise, he hoped that his experience with local governments and fundraising might be helpful in advancing the work of Think-Kids.

Founder and Co-CEO of Ethos Capital
Erik joined the Advisory Committee in 2016 Erik has a child with ADHD and has seen first-hand the profoundly positive impact Dr. Ablon and his team have helping kids with skills and tactics to harness the power of their creativity.  Additionally, the team at ThinkKids helps parents better understand how their children think about the world and consequently how they can implement strategies that will ultimately lead to better relationships and successful outcomes for everyone. Erik is the Founder and Co-CEO of Ethos Capital, an investment firm that seeks to identify and invest in companies that understand the importance of stakeholder capitalism and appreciate the impact of implementing responsible strategies, to enable a thriving ecosystem for all stakeholders. Erik has spent his entire career in the investment industry and prior to founding Ethos Capital was a Managing Partner leading ABRY Partners.

CMO and EVP, Marketing and Consumer Business, Microsoft
Chris runs marketing across both the consumer and commercial businesses, which includes marketing for all Microsoft services and products, brand, advertising, events, communications, and research. Originally from Boston, Chris lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters.

Child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist on faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School
Dr. Neha Chaudhary, MD is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist on faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School and co-founder of Brainstorm, Stanford's Lab for Mental Health Innovation. Her work focuses on the intersection of technology and mental health, with a specific interest in early intervention and resilience in kids. She is a Medical Advisor for Brightline, a platform for youth behavioral health services, and Pace, a platform for virtual emotional health groups. She also consults with tech companies like Pinterest to codevelop emotional wellbeing tools, and she teaches courses on leadership in mental health innovation. She's active in the media and medical journalism, with appearances on ABC News World News Tonight and Good Morning America and pieces in The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and more.

Administrator, Methuen Public Schools Counseling Department

John Crocker has worked in public education for fifteen years, primarily as the administrator for the Methuen Public Schools Counseling Department. He has overseen the planning and implementation of the “Mental Health Initiative,” which has focused on the establishment of a comprehensive school mental health system (CSMHS) in partnership with the National Center for School Mental Health (NCSMH). John has worked with the NCSMH as a member of the National School Mental Health Task Force and as the Massachusetts team leader for the National Coalition for the State Advancement of School Mental Health (NCSA-SMH). In his role as the director of school mental health & behavioral services, he is charged with overseeing the district-wide implementation and evaluation of Methuen’s CSMHS and positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS). His work has focused on developing a district-wide system of universal mental health screening, advancing the use of psychosocial data to inform school mental health staff’s therapeutic practice, and the development and evaluation of the CSMHS in Methuen. He has worked to scale up evidence-based therapeutic services across Methuen through the provision of district-wide professional development and the design and implementation of group- and individual-therapy programs. Mr. Crocker founded the Massachusetts School Mental Health Consortium (MASMHC), a group of approximately one-hundred and seventy school districts across Massachusetts committed to advocating for and implementing quality and sustainable school mental health services and supports. Most recently, MASMHC co-led the Massachusetts Collaborative for Improvement and Innovation Network (CoIIN) for Comprehensive School Mental Health, the School Mental Health Leadership Institute, and Thriving Minds, a professional development series focused on building comprehensive school mental health systems. He received the National Center for School Mental Health’s School Mental Health Champion Award in 2018 and was nominated the 2019 Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA) Administrator of the Year, the 20-21 Massachusetts Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Counselor of the Year, and the 2021 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Michael J. Kane Wellness Award recipient.

David moved to Boston from New York in 2012. He received a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. David was fortunate to have met Dr. Ablon and experience the benefits of Collaborative Problem Solving firsthand. David resides in Waban with his two amazing children.

Professor of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, School of Medicine
Director, Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Oregon Health & Sciences University
Dr. Jetmalani joined the OHSU faculty in 2007 as director of child and adolescent psychiatry education after practicing in the Portland area since 1988. In August of 2009, he was given the Joseph Professorship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Education and in September of 2010 he assumed the position of interim director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He brings a broad experience in treating children, adolescents and adults in outpatient, day treatment, group home, residential and hospital environments. He has also has held numerous leadership positions in various health care environments and has served on a number of boards of nonprofit children's mental health programs.

President, Lieberman Group, Inc.
Bob has served on the Advisory Committee since its inception.  He is President of Lieberman Group, Inc. and former CEO of Kairos, a multi-service agency for children, youth, and young adults with serious mental and behavioral disorders and their families. He is a past-President and former Public Policy Chair of the Association of Children’s Residential Treatment Centers (ACRC) and has held several appointments nationally and in Oregon. Mr. Lieberman has published numerous articles, was lead author for a chapter on implementing CPS in clinical settings, and is co-editor of two books on residential interventions. He is certified by Think:Kids as a  trainer in Collaborative Problem Solving and by ACE Interface as a Master Trainer of NEAR (neuroscience, epigenetics, adverse childhood experiences, resilience). He conducts trainings and workshops statewide and nationally and operates his own practice as a professional counselor for youth, young adults, and families.

Principal, Prospect Hill Academy Charter School
Practicum Professor/Lecturer, University of Massachusetts Boston
Dr. Tia Lites is dedicated to advancing successful, evidence-based practices in teaching and learning, fostering the academic advancement of the students, and creating a professional development program designed to promote pedagogical experimentation, creative delivery methods, and quality instruction. She also prioritizes building the school's cultural climate and expanding the pipelines between middle school students to historically Black colleges & universities. Dr. Lites is responsible for implementing her school's restorative justice action plans, teacher evaluation modules, cultural development and advocacy workshops, and social-emotional student seminars. Holding her Doctorate in Education, Dr. Lites's primary practice is utilizing the "culturally responsive school leadership framework" to support the growth of Black administration in schools that serve a majority population of students of color. Her dissertation and first book is entitled "The Influences of Black School Leadership on Supporting Positive Outcomes for Black Students in Urban Schools." She continues to research the pathways for Black students based on Black representation in schools and plans on creating a series of educational materials in regards to proactive measures to support Black learners (K-12). Dr. Lites also lectures on culturally responsive school leadership within her role at UMASS Boston Graduate School of Education.

Founder and CEO, Explanation Kids
Michelle is the founder of Explanation Kids, a startup developing technology that is disrupting civic education. Dedicated to providing innovative fact-based, non-partisan lessons and conversation starters on tough subjects, Explanation Kids serves kids PreK-5th grade. Prior to this, Michelle was appointed to the White House as Special Assistant to the President for the Office of Legislative Affairs by President Barack Obama, advising on matters related to the U.S. Congress. She was also appointed by the President to serve as an attorney-advisor for the U.S. Department of Justice, and as Congressional Director in the White House for the Office of Presidential Personnel. Michelle received her Juris Doctor from The University of Oklahoma College of Law and holds Bachelors in Music Performance with honors in the violin and piano from Oklahoma City University. Prior to entering into the legal profession, Michelle served as an academic advisor for Oklahoma City University and as a youth pastor for six years for a 6,000-member church in Oklahoma. There she founded after-school programs for at-risk teens that provided performing arts and sports programs and she created poverty-focused mission trips for teens to work, live, and serve homeless youth Los Angeles, CA on Skid Row, and in Mexico City, Mexico.

Rachel Rock has forever made sense of the world through individual stories. It was upon recognizing their power to drive social change that she saw journalism as her vehicle to participate. Rachel is a freelance multimedia journalist in Boston, MA. She combines written narrative with audio reporting and photojournalism. Prior work in microfinance development in Latin America and as an entrepreneur gives Rachel a wide lens to uncover stories around every corner.

Director, MGH/McLean Hospital Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program
David H. Rubin, MD, is the director of the Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program and the director of Postgraduate Education for Massachusetts General Hospital. He also serves as the executive director for the MGH Psychiatry Academy. Dr. Rubin’s clinical career has largely concentrated on severe manifestations of psychopathology, particularly in the realm of depression, anxiety, and neuropsychiatric illness. He has extensive experience in inpatient, residential, day hospital, and emergency room care and administration, and regularly performs institutional level consultations to improve clinical standards and outcomes for those environments.

Dr. Rubin is an invited lecturer nationally on topics related to withdrawn behavior in youth, the treatment of pediatric depression, and medical education across the medical student to postgraduate continuum. He also frequently consults to the popular media and was featured in Horizon Films’ documentary The Passage of Time.

Executive Director, Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston
Andrea Swain has spent the last 30 years working to improve the quality of life for families in Boston, particularly, in the Roxbury neighborhood. As an advocate for affordable housing and increased access and opportunities for youth, Andrea spent 10 years with the Boston Housing Authority in a variety of roles related to providing services to youth and families and co-created the social service component of the HOPE 6 initiative to transform both Orchard Garden Estates and Mission Main Housing Communities.

Andrea joined the Boys & Girls Club of Boston as the Executive Director of the Yawkey Club of Roxbury in March 2001 and oversaw an 8 million dollar expansion and renovation of the Club in 2006. Under Andrea’s tutelage, the Yawkey Club of Roxbury has created a leadership pipeline to focus on education, health & wellness, and local and global leadership programs where teens have an opportunity to travel to India and Japan. Andrea has received numerous awards for her exemplary leadership. In addition to serving on the advisory council of Think:Kids, Andrea serves as a member of the Boston Children’s Hospital Community Advisory Board, The 4 Star Dance Studio Advisory Board, and the Finance Ministry of Concord Baptist Church.
